Welcome to the EEAA
This is the official website of the European Evangelical Accrediting Association, a quality assurance network serving evangelical theological schools in Europe.

The EEAA is charter member of the International Council for Theological Education (ICETE), a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and an Associate of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).  Preparations are currently underway to apply for inclusion in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

  • The EEAA Council met in April and enjoyed 3 very productive days.  Read some excerpts from our minutes.  The Accreditation Commission granted 12 programmes achieved final accreditation.  See details...

  • New members. We welcome London School of Theology (London) and the Portughese Bible Institute (Lisbon) as new members of the EEAA.

  • EEAA General Assembly and ICETE Consultation. In view of the proximity of the dates and purposes, the EEAA Council has decided to merge its General Assembly with the international ICETE Consultation in Sopron, Hungary. The new dates for the EEAA General Assembly are 5-9 October, 2009. This is an open event for all theological educators in Europe and worldwide with over 250 attendees expected.   • We wish to thank all of you that participated in the survey regarding the Post Graduate Certificate in Theological Education.  The results were very encouraging, and we will be reporting on the plans to go forward at the General Assembly in Sopron.  Read more and give us your opinion through a 3 minute survey.

  • Report on the Visitation Evaluation Team (VET) Training Session.  Over 20 carefully selected academics, administrators and evangelical leaders met 15-16 October in Bienenberg (CH) to receive training for EEAA visitations.  Read what participants said...

  • The Theological Educator Vol 3.1 is now online.  We regret to inform that Vol 3.2 has been cancelled. From 2009 onwards our journal will be sent in electronic form only. All schools are kindly requested to send email addresses of their faculty to office(at)eeaa.eu.
